      Claude (optional)
      
    Claude can suggest speaker names and catch misheard names and terms. It uses your own Anthropic API key, which you pay for. Get one at console.anthropic.com.
    
      
      
      
    The key goes only to Anthropic, straight from this browser; Hearsay has no server. Without “remember”, it is forgotten when you close the tab.
    
      
    
        Keeping your key safe
        
      
          
    • Make a key just for Hearsay, so you can delete it without affecting anything else.
      • 
          
    • Limit what it can cost: in the Anthropic Console, put the key in its own workspace and give that workspace a monthly spending limit.
      • 
          
    • Leave “remember” off on shared or public computers.
      • 
          
    • If you think the key has leaked, delete it in the Console; it stops working at once.
